Leslie Johnson’s backstory was instantly compelling. Having spent years as Head of Brand for major names like Prada, she dedicated her life to restoring a centuries-old chapel in a rural region of France, where she now lives full-time. Through the painstaking restoration process, she worked closely with local artisans utilizing ancient techniques, inspiring her to transform these timeless traditions into a unique collection of homeware products.
The challenge was to portray this rare authenticity, value, and heritage through a single film. The Chapelle Industry website features nothing more than this video and a handful of photographs – the entire brand identity lives within this visual piece.
Portraing the medival landscapes of Mayenne Region and cenutry old craftsmenship was one of my favourite assignments ever.
